Potatoes are very changeable, they can be roasted, boiled, mashed or fried. But if you are looking for a way to make them healthy and interesting, why not try baking your own home fries. They are similar to fries, but are much healthier, so you get the best of both worlds. Depending on your taste, there are different flavours you can try. One is potato wedges with rosemary. Simply cut large potatoes into long pieces and place in a roasting tin. Then drizzle them with a little olive oil and throw in some rosemary and chopped garlic. Season with pepper and add some thyme for more variety. After they are roasted, they will smell fragrant and taste crispy.

Alternatively, if you love spicy food, why not try paprika fries. Again, slice the potatos and place in a roasting tin, but this time, sprinkle paprika and chilli powder over them with a drizzle of oil.
